Which school entrance options may suit your child?
Share your child’s present class, intended entry class and target school. RAAH can review the relevant published admission criteria before you invest time in preparation or an application.
Eligibility guidance is preliminary. Final eligibility and admission decisions remain with the relevant school or admission authority.
Entry Class
Whether the selected school actually offers the intended admission route.
Age / Date of Birth
Against the official cut-off date for the selected admission session.
Qualifying Class
Current schooling and any prescribed minimum marks or subjects.
Special Conditions
Domicile, category, stream, gender, vacancy or school-specific conditions where applicable.
Eligibility, readiness and selection are different
A child can be eligible to apply but still need substantial academic preparation. Likewise, a strong student may not meet a particular published admission criterion.
Eligibility
Answers: Can the child apply under the checked rules?
This may depend on age, current class, marks, domicile, category or other admission conditions.
Readiness
Answers: How prepared is the child academically?
This is assessed separately through a readiness assessment or diagnostic test.
Selection
Answers: Was the child finally admitted?
Selection depends on the applicable exam, merit, vacancies and other official stages.

The parent should still follow the official application and final verification process.
More information is needed
For example: marks, domicile, category, school recognition or vacancy information.
Explain the exact reason
The response should identify the particular published criterion rather than simply saying “not eligible”.
Ask only for information genuinely needed for the review

Questions parents commonly ask
Does this page automatically confirm eligibility?
No. The form prepares an eligibility-review request. RAAH should check the applicable official admission rules before giving preliminary guidance.
Why can’t eligibility be decided only from age?
Because many admission routes also depend on the qualifying class, marks, state/district, category, stream, school conditions or vacancies.
Why does the admission session matter?
Age cut-offs and other requirements can change between admission cycles. The correct rules must therefore be checked for the intended session.
If my child appears eligible, does that guarantee admission?
No. Eligibility only determines whether the child appears to meet the criteria reviewed. Admission may still depend on an examination, merit, counselling, lottery, interview, medical fitness or available seats.
Can RAAH suggest another school if one route does not fit?
Yes. If the selected route does not appear suitable, RAAH can help the parent explore other school-entrance options relevant to the child’s class and circumstances.
Is eligibility guidance the same as counselling?
Eligibility guidance checks admission criteria. Counselling can then help the parent compare school options and decide which preparation route deserves attention.
Check eligibility before choosing preparation
Tell RAAH the school, entry class and child’s current details. A clear eligibility review can prevent wasted applications and unsuitable preparation.
